Team up with an agent that you are comfortable with. Together you can find current foreclosures in the MLS as well as properties that might not be available on the market yet. Most agents should be able to check for preforeclosure as well as bank owned status on properties to help expand your search. ... more

Hi G. Crazy. This is not your only choice. You also have the choice of short-selling your property. I do this for homeowners all the time. I've never met a person that did a bona-fide modification. Short selling your home will allow you to avoid foreclosure. You'll have to go back to renting, but the alternative is foreclosure, which nobody wants!

Here is a link to the Tax Collectors office for Broward County, it should have answers to all your questions. They schedule Tax Deed sales once a month except for the month of June.
