There's a small street called Cameron Ln just off Moore Rd & then there's Cameron Hill (home of BCBS) downtown, there may be others as well. I'm not sure exactly which area you are referring to.

Regardless though, the best way to get an objective measure of crime in an area is to contact the police department and ask for crime stats for that location. You might be dismayed by the number of crimes committed there. But then you really need to go a step further and get crime stats for a place that you know and where you feel comfortable. When you compare the two you might be very surprised. to find that they are pretty comparable.

Go to & put in the address. You'll have to change the date range to suit the length of time you want but it should give you some great information about this property plus its neighbors.

Hope this helps!

Hi there-

If you scroll down the listing ( and click on the crimes tab, you can see there have only been 4 crimes in the area this year.

Let me know if I can help with anything else!

When it comes to any safety/crime related issues, it's always best to contact the local police department with all your questions, hear all there is to hear firsthand. If unfamiliar with the area(s) do revisit more than once and at different times of day, possibly chat with locals/neighbors. Real estate professionals are prohibited from steering, enticing a buyer to purchase/rent, or not, in specific neighborhoods.

Hi Crazy Chrissy,

I would recommend contacting local law enforcement, they can tell you about crime in the area. You can also look up activity on "". You can search online or download the app to your smartphone and do searches that way, but I am not sure how quickly the information is updated (ex. daily, weekly, etc.). Hope that helps!
