Josephine,

There are currently 97 available properties for rent in Morrisville and Cary with 3 BR and 2.5BA. If you can provide additional information, I can better assist you. What is the max rent your daughter will pay? Will anyone in the unit have pets? Let's start with that and go from there. Thanks.

From my experience, you really need to start in May. We see a turnover in the summer due to schools letting out. By August, rentals in this area will probably be limited. Keep in mind, this is one of the most requested areas. Also, visit the www.wcpss.net website. Our schools have changed and local folks have already registerd for school next year. We have traditional and year round schools in addition to many other options. ... more

Might try Cornertsone Apartments off High House Road in Cary, between Davis Drive and NC HWY 55.
Lots of stuff, nearby in Cornerstond Shoping ctr, and Stone Creek Village.

Also, consider Grace Park at the corner of Davis Drive and MOrrisville-Carpenter Road. Super EZ commute and walk to several restaurants at that intersection.

There is also a complex at the Arboreteum, at Harrison Avenue and Weston Parkway. I forget the name, but the Arboreteum offers a lot of shops and restaurants, from Moe's SW Grille to Ruth's Chris Steaks, An, Bonefish Grill, etc.

Vivian Olkin answered:
The general consensus is that the Chapel Hill-Carrboro school district is the top district in the Triangle. Wake County is going through so much angst and transition without figuring out yet what their policy will be on neighborhood schools and busing that I personally would hesitate to move there. On the other hand, look at school reports, even talk to neighbors in the areas that interest you. Meet with principals.

Are you sure you want the commute from Cary to Duke and UNC? I've always thought that one of the reasons to live in the Triangle is for a better quality of life. For me, that means a short commute. Just something to consider.

Good luck with your search.
