Foreign national loans are obtainable but often depend on which country you call home. The downpayment is anywhere from 30% of the purchase price on up and there will be closing costs associated with the loan like any other buyer here in the States pays. Some countries have their own types of credit scores which are used for foreign national loans here.

There are a few people I would be happy to put you in touch with that provide these types of financing.

Is this for a Short Sale? If it was a BPO, then it's good for about 90 days depending on the lender. If it is for a loan, then it's up to the bank and their policies.

If you are referring to the Hancock Bridge Pkwy area, it just depends on the condition of the home, the location and the asking price. This is true of any home in our area. Some homes sell right away and some sit longer, depending on these factors. If you have any other questions, you can email me at bonniemiller08@gmail.com or call me direct at 239-229-1339. ... more

Margie Birch answered:
Hi,
You are correct, the SW area is closer to the 'action'. The NW area is nice as well. However it is a newer more recently developed area, and there is less commercial development at this time.

I suggest you get together with a realtor in the area who can truely answer all your questions. There are other factors to consider which I won't get into in this forum.

If you'd like more information, I'd be happy to help. Just give me a call or email me directly.

Thanks,

Many condo complexes were not finished across SW Florida when the market boom crashed. That's the reason they are listed so reasonably priced due to an over abundance of them (Supply and demand). Let me know if I can send you some active ones and get you more information on them.

Thanks

Bill Eckler answered:
Diz,

Too many people are continuing to view home ownership as an investment.....you truly should but there comes a point when you need to evaluate things from a more practical position. Would this improvement improve your family's quality of life? Is this something that could be accomplished without creating a financial hardship?

The reality is that by doing these additions you will likely not be able to recover all of the money invested but there is something much grander involved that you should never lose sight of...it's tough to place dollar signs on happiness.

Good luck,

Bill

A comparing on you home would have to be done by looking at your home to see what upgrades have been done in the home to be able to give you a price range on what your home is worth today. Are you listing your home with a agent? If you would like to meet so we can go over everything so you can get an range of your homes value please give me a call with no obligations to you at all.
