Mortgage rates have increased .25% to .375% in the past 35 days. Do I think the lowest rates in history are over? No. I believe we will see another dip in late October 2013, with rates in the high 3%- low 4% for conforming products. I would discourage anyone from getting a short term - a 3 or 5 year rate, though it is a bit lower is not a great plan, even if you think you will sell or move in that time frame. Could we be like Japan? - I think this is not that likely either. ... more

Right now must of the hold up in the release of inventory is a legal matter. The top real estate lenders - BofA, Chase, GMAC and a few others are on hold pending the outcome of recent legal actions under the Home Buyer's Bill of Rights. In fact, an Attorney on behalf of a home owner was able to successfully secure an injunction against BofA due to a dual-tracking violation.

Under several program BofA is beginning to release its inventory throughout LA County. Give me a call, I can get you qualified and referred to the agents handling those inventories.

Google shows it is estimated at 34 minutes, as we all know that will depend on traffic, you would want to have a fasttrack for the bridge

The rental market is fairly strong and only getting stronger as more homeowners are forced into short selling or foreclosure. They'll have to rent somewhere, right? Why not from you?

I've read from a trusted source that rents will keep increasing over the next 2-3 yrs a little more than they have recently. That can only be good news for owners of investment properties.

Good luck and let me know if I can be of further assistance.

Good morning Henry,

Unfortunately, this property is not showing as available.
To answer your question, if this is large enough for 5 people, would depend on how many are adults and how many are children...This unit is under 1,000 sq ft.
Please feel free to contact me if you would like me to send you properties that are currently for sale.
Have a wonderful day!

The Historic appreciation rate is like a roller coaster; at least it has been for the last 5 years.
For the FUTURE rate, please contact Jean Dixon,

What you need to look at, is the factors that go into an area appreciating;
Supply & Demand
Proximity to Fun things.

Sounds like Irvine rates pretty high, nuh?

Hi Jim,
Eastlake in general is known for having very nice and safe Bike paths all over the area, there are even some paths where you can bike with your kids or young children that are easy to ride. The paths are everywhere and all you need to bring with you is you stamina and your bike. The majority of the paths are connected and can take you all over Eastlake. The if you like to bike in nature Eastlake offers bike paths next to the Otay lakes Lake. There you can take you car pass the Olympic training center follow the road all the way to the parking lot next to the Dam and begin to ride. In a good day you will be able to see many kinds of birds and the air is super crisp and clean. As you follow the loop and get back to the car you can even see some of the olympic Athletes also biking around the area. If you like the area out by the like there are several types of properties, from Townhomes to Single Family owned properties. In a word.....crazy. We're certainly seeing values rise as inventory continues to fall, distressed sales become less of a driving factor, and demand remains steady. The real difference is that the current market is showing signs of the frenzy of just a few years ago with not only multiple offers often over list price, but often all cash offers way over asking with no appraisal contingencies. How can a regular buyer compete.....they can't until inventory picks up and we shift back to a balanced market. ... more
