Yes. The town clerk or similar position records all property transfers (sales). Many towns now have searchable databases which tell you where (book and page) to find the record for a property. That informtion is also available on records kept by the tax assessor. They may not always give the price however. Some are recorded as sold for $1 and other valuable consideration. ... more
