You need to get your home on the internet! List it with, Zillow, com. The other large site is but they will not accept For Sale By Owner Listings. Hold Open Houses and give them lots of ads in the newspaper.

Hi Kim,

I cannot answer that question directly but know there are a lot of sites online that can help with that... However, I've been performing inspections for over 10 years and some of the weirdest transactions that take place are FSBO... We've had the most problems trying to do our job (inspect for the client) when dealing with FSBO.

While there are bad apples in every group of professionals, I truley believe if I was to sell my home I would choose a professional Realtor. I've dealt with 100's... and would have a tough time deciding who I'd use, but I do have a short list.

I think you can sell your home faster and for more $$ with a Realtor than without. You might think "why pay Realtors 6-8% of the sale when I can pocket that?'... Simple, you might be able to make 10-15% more with a well thought out marketing plan with a professional Realtor. Plus they WILL help with all the legalities and paperwork looking out for your best interest. It's really the best way to go!

Feel free to contact me if you have any additional questions.

Best of Luck!
