I would need more information to estimate a value. How many bedrooms, baths, garage, basement, and improvements to give you a rough estimate. For a more reliable value, I would need to see the home. The location and condition can really impact the price. Do you own the home? ... more

Prices tend to increase or at least stabalize in the summer months as buying increases and average time on the market decreases. Laura...I can answer this question in two parts. First of the Buffalo Grove condo market as a whole is experiencing the same issues as many areas, a lot of sellers, not a lot of buyers. Taking a look at the big picture, in the last year about 228 condos in BG sold. Compare that with the fact that there are currently 278 condos for sale in BG right now and that'd mean if nothing else came on the market it would take almost 15 months to sell everything for sale right now.

That said, and part two of my answer, Roseglen is in a little bit better shape only having two places for sale right now. Are you looking to buy in Roseglen or sell? There are several GOOD ways to push your property to the top of the list of the 278 available condos in Buffalo Grove and none include under cutting your price. While that is a way to sell, I don't consider giving your money away a GOOD idea. If you're asking about buying in a particular location, we constantly help clients find unlisted homes for below market values. While I'm hesitant to go into how we do that here, please feel free to contact me for a brief idea about how we accomplish this for our clients.

Great questions and good luck!
