My office is located in Tamarac, FL 33321 and I sold a few properties in this town. I live right next to it in Coral Springs. Tamarac is very peaceful, green and laid back little town. There is plenty of beautiful single family communities like Woodmont and town house/villa communities to chose from. Good place to live. Check out City of Tamarac official web page

This is a great area to live. Very conveniently located - close to major highways ( I-75, 595, Sawgrass Expw). Sawgrass Mall is just around the corner with it s famous shops, there are bunch of restaurants nearby, movie theatre, banks. Great area for the families. Flamingo park is just steps away. Very safe neighborhood if you ask me. As far as real estate prices they held the values pretty well compared to some other areas which saw a big decline. Overall, i d definitely rate this community very positive, especially for families. If you have more questions you can contact me directly, i m very familiar with this area as a resident and a real estate agent. Kate Zhurko 954-734-5980 ... more

The Cagan Team - Online now! answered:
Hi Roger...

I assume you mean What is it like to live in Coral Springs?

Coral Springs ranked best place to live in Florida

Money magazine published an article naming the 100 Best Places to Live across the nation and Coral Springs ranked first in the State of Florida and 44th on the overall list.

This is the second year Coral Springs has ranked as the number one city in Florida and the third year it made the top 100 list. For the current year, the cities were ranked on attributes including economic opportunity, income, job growth and affordability, quality of life, crime, quality of schools, arts and leisure, park space and stress-related ailments.

Money magazine highlighted Coral Springs’ array of leisure and sports facilities, including the Sportsplex, ice rinks, skate parks and more. In comparison to the Top 10 cities, Coral Springs offers a large selection of restaurants and is on par with its museum offerings.

Coral Springs was also rated highly on safety, and was recognized for its excellent public schools, racial diversity, attractive home prices and air quality index.

The City of Coral Springs was the recipient of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award in 2007 and is a two-time Governor’s Sterling Award winner for quality excellence. It was the first City of Excellence named by the Florida League of Cities and has also been identified as one of the 100 Best Communities for Young People by America’s Promise Alliance for Youth.

Hope this helps!

Angela Schrager answered:
The payment is $372/month. The reason it is higher than the single family homes is because you are getting a lot more from the association. This payment includes all the amenities of the community, maintenance of the common areas, the exterior of the building, insurance, lawn and landscaping, parking, cable TV, the roof, servicing of the pool, trash removal, services of an onsite manager and the recreation facilities.

I hope this helps!

Best regards,

Angela
