Consider working with an agent; or check local print media for by owner rentals, always verify ownership before exchanging any money, word of mouth, etc.

Hello;
I would suggest start your search working on line to find the neighborhood with the assets and ammenities that you want close at hand in combination to your budget requirements and then finding an agent that specializes in that neighborhood to help you find the right apartment.
An agent that specializes in a particular neighborhood, will know all the buildings and the landlords and will be able to locate that special needs apartment.
Good luck,
Kathryn Lilly, Broker

Hi Atan - remember the coop attorney is looking out for the coop..I would suggest that if you
both agree that you at least get one attorney for the two of you. at least it appears that somebody
is looking out for you. Remember penny-wise-pound foolish. Any attorney usually only charges
$1200.00. Better safe than sorry. Good Luck

Thomas,

Do you know why no one is answering you? Because the majority of people here are agents, Brokers and Realtors (like myself). We have the best apartments due to the trust homeowners have in us to bring them good tenants.

Try Craigslist, but there is a chance you might get swindled.
Not here.
