The city of Branson does, but the county does not have any restrictions against building a dome home, let me know if you would like to find some property outside the city limits.

Housing starts are up in the Branson area, but it is still slow. I feel that this spring and summer will see much more building in the area.

Most of the major lenders will - depending on your qualifications for the mortgage - but you're likely only going to be able to pull some portion of the home's value out, not all of it. If you are buying it cash at a price way below market and then trying to have it appraised at its higher, fair market value to get 100% of your cash back out, you should talk with your mortgage broker about what you'll need to be able to do or show to prove to the lender that the home's value actually increased that much since you bought it, or that you simply bought it below market. Often, the lender will want evidence of repairs or evidence that you bought it at a foreclosure auction, etc. ... more

Knowledge Ave. is off E. Hwy 65 across the bridge from downtown Branson. It is an area of 2 year old appartment condos some of which have a one-car garage. Lately there have been a number of forclosure sales there and some are currently listed at a price below $40,000 on our MLS. I can't help but believe that is a good buy if you are not looking for an immediate flip. You might have a difficult time getting a good appraisial there due to the fact that so many are on the market at a distressed low price. Go to www.bransonlistings.com and click on search the MLS button. Enter MLS # 335105 to see one of the units. There are a total of 12 listed in that devlopement. 333736 T $58,000 135 Scholars Ct.
