Danielle Sharp answered:
It's ILLEGAL for a real estate agent to charge upfront for negotiating a short sale. Our commission is payment enough, even if it is more work than a traditional sale. Some agents will hire the negotiator out and charge a buyer a fee or charge the bank for those services. A negotiator is not a necessity as long as your agent has experience. If your lender has already approved it, all of that work is done so there is no real reason you should have to pay a fee.

You have to be priced well right now. The problem is that you can buy cheaper than you can build. Let me know if you have any questions.
