Hello Amy,

A good Realtor would have called beforehand and asked you this question. This is something that is totally up to the FSBO (For Sale By Owner) in charge. The FSBO is not obligated by the FSBO to pay anything unless there was an agreement between them and the Realtor beforehand (In writing)

FSBO away! I wish you luck.
But it's always best to go with an experienced Realtor.
They get you the highest price... That's their job. ;-)

You are much better off with a REBNY broker than you are with one who is only a member of the Brooklyn MLS. Every major NYC real estate firm belongs to REBNY, and by listing your property with a REBNY broker you will reach a far greater audience than you will with one who is only a member of the Brooklyn MLS (some firms are members of both).

Best of luck with your sale.
