Hi Cindy, unfortunately real estate agents are not able to answer that question specifically. We can however give you some websites that you can go to and do some research. If you want to email me at aterito@kw.com I can send you some of those websites and discuss what high schools you are interested in.

Thanks,

Aimee Terito

Sherwood Forest is in transition, dont think its for the good. Its an older neighborhood, many owners took care of their properties, many did not.. the biggest problem ive seen is that too many people purchased homes that maxed out their income and they have no way to keep the properties up. Many foreclosures, many homes in disrepair ... more

Hey Sam!

Places close to LSU that would be similar I would say Southdowns area. I could email you some homes around there. Most homes are walking distance to shopping, restaurants and bars.
Downtown BR also has a few homes and condos for sale or lease that might interest you.

Let me know if you have any questions.

It's probably pending now or withdrawn from the market. Shoot me an email with the address at home@geauxbig.com and I'll look into it and tell you exactly what happened and if there's anything you can do about it.

Carmen Denham answered:
While there are many misconceptions about what someone from outside the US can and can't do in Real Estate in America, the process is much simpler, and less complex than in most countries. Many who aren't citizens buy homes every year in the US. The biggest difference is that many banks and mortgage lenders' guidelines differ for foreigners and you may have to present a higher down payment if applying for a mortgage before becoming a citizen. The best thing to do is talk to a qualified, local mortgage professional.

If you'd like assistance with any part of the process, feel free to call.
