It depends on what terms were agreed on in the lease agreement. Responsibilities can vary greatly, so these items should be acknowledged before the lease agreement is signed and it should be clear before the tenant moves in. ... more

There are a couple of dozen Brookhaven MLS listings currently, Jill, and at least two with 1 bedroom. If you would like for me to send you electronic flyers of these properties, please forward me your email address and I will get them over ASAP. If you'd like to see some today or tomorrow, please call, text or email and I will arrange the showings. Good Luck!

We are a brand new luxury apartment community located in the Virginia Highlands. Our Community is built to feel more like condos than apartments. You will have an interior hallway to your apartment and covered parking. The M is a controlled access building and your key fob will allow you access to the entrances and parking garages. All the apartments are finished with granite countertops, custom cabinetry, tile in the kitchen and baths, and berber carpet in the bedrooms. Also, check out our website and youtube video! I would love to give you a tour of luxury at The M Apartments.

M 1746s.f. $2,409 3bed/2 bath with wrap around balcony
J 2325 s.f. $3,116 This is the largest floor plan we have! 2bed/2.5bath plus private study. This is larger than our 3 bedrooms (March move in)

If you have any questions don’t hesitate to call or email me with any concerns.

Georgette,

We really need much more information to give you a good answer, such as what is your budget, and how far are you willing to drive? You could consider Brookhaven, Chamblee, and Doraville along the gold line or any number of neighborhoods along the blue/green line including Inman Park, Decatur, and Avondale Estates.

To find the best answer, you need to work with a Realtor who will sit down with you and ask detailed questions that will lead to the best home in the best location for you and your family. If this sounds like good advise, give me a call at 404-425-4945.

Hello Mellonbuck,
When you have a valid grievance against a real estate agent and his firm then file a complaint with the local Board of REALTORS® in Atlanta as they take complaints seriously and will investigate.

Good luck!

You should contact an attorney, Chris. Once you have questions of a legal nature, unless we are both Realtors and lawyers, the GREC deems it is above our pay grade to answer. Good Luck!

Tony McMahon answered:
Is your property priced appropriatly for the market ? If not do you have the ability to reduce the price ,without taking a loss. I have friends who have a tremendous amount of equity in their home, but they insist that they are going to get what they want for the house and instead of reducing the price they were stubborn and kept in on the market at the inflated price for 2 years, and probably lost 25% of the homes equity during that time instead of reducing there asking price. If you have the ability to rent the property out and wait out the market that certainly is your other option. ... more

Stacy Gordon answered:
Hiya Jane,

Technically, all commissions belong to your broker who in turn compensates you according to your commission agreement. So if you're having problems in that area, your broker will have to take up the matter with the listing broker for the rental. Hopefully, they can work things out pretty simply. If not, the brokers will have to resolve the matter according to the terms of the agreement. In some cases, this includes arbitration.

Good luck!
