We have to be really careful with answering questions about safety, because what's acceptable to one person may not be to another. There's just too much liability involved in saying "yes" or "no" to that question. However, I will say this ... I personally live in a home off Whit Davis Road, and we've never had any safety concerns.
Another option is to visit the website www.CrimeReports.com or call your local police to get crime reports for a specific area.

I would direct any questions regarding crime and crime statistics to the local police department. Addressing "good" and "bad" areas in regard to purchasing Real Estate is a dangerous topic for a REALTOR. It can be considered steering, which is forbidden under the Fair Housing guideines. I imagine that you would not have much trouble finding the local PD online where the statistics you seek are available. Good luck. ... more
