I would think a lot that small would not have enough room for a house and drilling equipment. Is there already a well there? Are you financing the transaction? If so check with your lender first, good luck,

If the home is in Arlington, my office is here and we have remodeled hundreds of homes in our career of 22 years. We would do a market analysis and see if it justifies the money. If you want more information, just email me the address and your contact number so we can discuss the particulars. Send it to jeff.cassell@txinvestment.com or call me on my cell at 817-988-7653. Thank you.

Qualifying for a loan will be very tough. Also tough is finding a good quality property and winning the bid with a VA loan. Perhaps you should continue to rent for another 6 months. You can build up your credit scores, save up more money, and buy during the middle of winter when there's usually less competition. ... more

I've lived in Arlington for about 30 years, working in real estate most of that time. It has certainly grown & changed alot, but this SW area continues to be a nice place to live. You will want to remember it's a large city & take reasonable safety precautions. You may also want to check with the local police dept for statistics in a particular area. Please let me know if I can help further!

"Meeting your needs and exceeding your dreams!"

I just wanted to reach out and say I can't even begin to imagine being in your shoes. I honestly wish I could help however if you are unable to pay anything down and or have poor credit I would not be able to assist you properly. My only advice look in local shoppers/papers/craigslist find a rent by owner and try to speak with them face to face after previewing the estate. Let them know of your situation one might be willing to open their heart and credit the down payment back to you. Good luck and God Bless.
