Most often, they will need some combination, if not all of those. As far as deposits go, assume first and last months rent, plus a security deposit.

Hello Jenny,

I think the first place to start is by asking the SSA . I don't know their requirements. For example, once you make $x will they cut off your disability? Although realistically unless you buy your rental property with cash, you probably with see little or no income from the rents. The rent payment will go to pay the expenses of your rental house; mortgage, real estate taxes, maintenance etc. Thanks, Rick

Congratulations on the new job! (If you take it.) Are you referring to a purchase or a rental? Just let me know. I can run a custom search for you. Depending on the area- in Phoenix- we are talking between $85k- $200 or more. Phoenix is a big area/ so lets narrow down the search a bit based on where this new job is and freeway access. ... more

Sometimes the agent just hasn't had time to take more photos. Are you working with an agent yet? I'm sure the listing agent or your buyer representative could go take photos or videos of any properties you are interested in. I suggest connecting with a local Realtor who can work with you. ... more

Joseph Domino answered:
Yes, there are dozens of private investors in the valley. However, they require fairly large down payments 30-40% and will charge higher interest rates than you will get from a mortgage banker.

I some how think you will be better served to find a good loan officer and work with them to repair your credit while you save to increase your credit score and savings. In about 6 months you can get approved by a local bank.

Feel free to contact me if you have questions or need a referral.

Kevin, only an "Appraiser" can give an appraisal. As agents, we can however provide comps.

Nothing is currently active in that community and the last property sold was 9/20/12.

Here are the comps within the past year http://www.flexmls.com/link.html?zn826admvvt,12,1
