It looks like there are a few areas in Apache Junction with single family gated communities. I was able find properties in Jacobs Ranch at Tomahawk & US 60, Meridian Manor at Meridian & Southern, Broadway San Marcos at Ironwood & Broadway; they all look like nice communities. There is no such thing as "average" property taxes in any community in Arizona. There are simply too many variables, like the type of home, size of the home, lot size, comparable sales nearby, pool or no pool, etc., etc.

If you find a property that you're very interested in, then your buyer's agent can look up the property taxes for you - if they're not already shown on the full MLS listing.

A short sale in real estate is where the seller is selling the property for less than what they owe their bank. They have to ask their bank to take a loss on the sale. With about a 90% failure rate, only about 10% of short sales actually work out & the average time to do so, takes about 4 months. With tens of thousands of "legitimate" properties for sale, you're probably better off buying a property directly from the bank or from a private seller that is not in a short sale status. Now, if you've found the perfect property that another comparable property like it does NOT exist, and you have an extended amount of patience and are willing to pay 90%-100% of market value for the property, then a short sale may be acceptable for you. If you are looking for mobile homes in a park, they most likely will not be on this site. Real Estate agents are not licensed to sell homes in Mobile home parks (where the land is rented) unless the lease is a long-term lease which is transferrable to another party when the mobile is sold. There are several websites that you can go to to find mobile homes in parks, however, they will not contain all the listings in all the parks. Mobile home dealers typically do not cooperate in the same manner as Realtors...which unfortunately, makes a lot more work for the consumer in search of a home in a park. Best advice is to call Golden Days, and see if they have an on-site staff who sells theirhomes...but to see ALL the inventory currently available there, you will probably have to drive block ot block,....the on-site sales staff generally will not have information available to you on homes in that park offered by other brokers. If they do not have an on-site sales staff, they can probably tell you which brokers typically handle homes in that neighborhood. Good Luck! ... more
