What's your budget? FHS has quite a large district which includes Tammany Hills. FJH is a bit smaller but stil encompasses a large portion of Abita as well as parts of both Mandeville and Covington.

The property tax rate depends on several items. Is it in the city limits or not? In what fire district is it located? In what recreational district is it located? Just to name a few. The best way to determine the tax current millage is to visit the tax assessor's website ( and enter a property address. Using "property description" you can enter a subdivision or use the drop down menu to enter a street name or specific address.
