If you are not already working with a local agent, you should. We can check inventory that never makes Craigslist or other sites. We can also protect you against the many scams that are all over the internet.
Under NO condition send money to someone expecting keys in return. This is the most common scam using listed properties, hijacking the photos and coming up with a creative story. Ususally these homes are offered at way below market prices, so they seem like great deals. The only one who gets a great deal is the scammer who pockets the money.

I did a quick search of Tacoma & Puyallup and found 7 possibilities with 2 or more bedrooms. Any local agent can search for you. Ask if they have experience dealing with lease options before you select one. Negotiating terms on this type of arrangement can be interesting as there are loads of possible ways to work things out.
