The GreenHouse apartments are brand new in Columbia City. They just opened a leasing office. Call them at 206.722.3200.

Columbia City is the heart of 98118. It's the most diverse neighborhood in Seattle. Columbia City offers eclectic shops & restaurants, an historic library, a Post Office, and everything is within a couple blocks from the new Light Rail.

Good luck!

Hello Timi,

Personally, I enjoyed the Queen Anne neighborhood in Seattle. There are many townhomes & condominiums to choose from. As a single professional, your employee might enjoy all of the offerings this neighborhood has to offer. There are tons of restaurants, cafes, and grocery stores all within walking distance. The Seattle Center & Pike Place Market are also within walking distance.

I would recommend staying close to I-5 when looking for a townhome. Traffic in the city is difficult to navigate, so being close to the freeways will help lessen the stress of commuting to and from work.

I don't know of a website to estimate utility expenses. Your monthly utilities expenses can vary widely depending on your usage habits, the size of the house and the quality of the windows, insulation/weather stripping.

Seattle Public Utilities provides all the services except natural gas and heating oil. You can get some rates at the website provided. Puget Sound Energy is the main natural gas provider depending on where in the city you move to.
