I'm pretty sure that the house has more than one bedroom. It's possible that an individual is offer to rent out one of their bedrooms. Those types of rentals can be found on Craigslist. ... more

My daughter lives in Vegas and I spend alot of time going back and forth.

You can fly out of San Jose at the Minetta Airport...typically Southwest has the best rates.
But I live in Hollister and fly out of Monterey using Allegiant Air. The airport is very small, getting thru security is a breeze and the rates are incredible. Although the flights are just a few days a week, you can get a flight as low as $19 each way.

Hope this is helpful~~

Hello sandy,
Welcome to California!

During the commute hours (7:30 to 9:30 AM) it'll take you just about 45 minutes from evergreen to Santa Clara. HWY 101 is the main freeway and its usually bumper to bumper between 8 and 9 AM.
Living in santa clara will sure save you commute time. however you'll get a lot more home for your money in evergreen.
Campbell is a great little town with charm and character. Prices are higher than Santa Clara.
If you have not lived in the south bay area, Id suggest before purchasing a home rent for a few months and get to know the different neighborhoods before you purchase.

Regards,

Geotal,
Meridian is one of the arteries through Almaden, so it does get a fair amount of traffic. You can expect listings on the street will sell for less than those within a neighborhood.
But you will love living in Almaden! I have lived here for 9 years and I love buying & selling homes for my clients here.
I suggest hanging out at TJ Martin park on Meridian to get a sense of the noise and traffic. Only you can determine if it will be an issue for you personally.
Good luck, and happy house hunting!

Sk, It's somewhat busy, but there are two areas of Redmond Avenue on each side of Almaden. A quiet side and a busier side.
