The first two might consider pets and the third does not allow pets. Very few rental properties are listed on the MLS. You may have a wider range of options by searching here on Trulia in their RENT section and Craigslist is a good resource for rentals as well. Kind regards.

The Las Miradas area, although within Los Gatos school district, is not as highly regarded as the rest of Los Gatos for several reasons. It is on the edge of Los Gatos near condos, power towers, and highway 880 (aka 17). It also sits slightly lower than the rest of Los Gatos and there are still quite a few rental properties that need some careful maintenance. However, you can get a decent home with Los Gatos schools for under a million in this area. Plus some homes on Las Miradas have access to Los Gatos Creek Trail directly from the backyard; the trail leads to Vasona Park. So, if you are a runner or a biker or a walker, a great place to live. Great question. Prestige of the name Los Gatos. Not all Cambrian Park homes go to Alta Vista. But in general it is simply the town of Los Gatos verses the city of San Jose address.

There's a new listing coming in the manor which may be listed over your budget initially but it might come down closer to your range if my hunch is correct. What are you looking for? Do the current Manor options not work for you right now? There's also Marchmont which just dropped its price and Hilow (off Shannon).

As for the name, I'm not sure if it has it's own name, it's right between the manor and Blossom Crest but doesn't really fall in either.

I'll ask around and see if anyone knows of anything coming up in that neighborhood.

That is a hard question to answer. Before you tear down the property I would check the appropriate county to find out buidling restrictions. They might let you build on the land using some part of the original structure and if torn down you might be out of luck. I really would head to the county planning depart. They will give you a lot of information.
