It's ALWAYS the kitchen and bath (especially master) remodels that add the most value. However, make sure you don't over do it. If you put a $50k kitchen in a $75k house you'll never see the return on your investment. ... more

Definitely contact David Walling with Provident Bank. He should be able to take care of you. He very well known around San Diego and does a great job for his clients. And if he's not able to do the loan he will be able to point you in the right direction.

Would be happy to discuss this with you, feel free to call me at 858-229-5399. Their is an exception where you can get a 2nd FHA loan if it meets the distance requirment. The bigger problem may be your debt to income ratio with qualifying for a second mortgage. We can discuss your specific situation and I can give you the advice you need to make the right decision. Not sure why no one addressed this. You can certainly ask the broker outright if what they are doing is not in conflict with Respa or with the California Business & Professions Code ( You can also take your question to the real estate board that your broker belongs to, such as or the California Association of Realtors at or contact the California Department of Real Estate
Hope that helps.

Why Rent when you can own?

Right now financing programs exist that allow a buyer with a 500 FICO score to only pay 1/2% towards the purchase of a $400,000 home.

That means you can buy a home and pay $2000 as a down payment and all you need is a 500 Credit Score.

Give me a call and I can give you more guidance.

dear Info,

First of all, I would suggest you buy a property. Secondly, talk to the owner or Realtor and ask them directly about your contract and status, it is that simple.

Best of luck, btw, its official, I am running for State Senate.

Hi Kevine,

Both neighborhoods are extremely popular. I tend to think of East Village as a place for young folks who want to be near the ballpark. clubs, etc

Little Italy is perhaps more mixed in age of its residence. I think it offers a more sophisticated environment.

Bear in mind that East Village is a bit more affordable than Little Italy so your finances may play into this. I work both neighborhoods extensively...and would love to help you with your home search. Please give me a call!

Take care,
