Reductions in the list price can be built into the listing agreement. If you haven't gotten an offer in the first two weeks, reduce the price. You should contact a Real Estate agent who really knows your area. They will be able to give you an honest assessment of the value of your property.
A lot can depend on the condition of your unit compared to the condition of the Short Sale unit, but you need the opinion of a Realtor who knows the market.
