Hello,

I believe that the newest addition to that area would have to be the water slide to the recreation center on Hollywood Blvd.

Since the duct work is already in placewith a "forced air system" this should be an easy installation. An HVAC company will be able to provide you with the particulars of what is needed and what the expence will be.

Good luck,

What the 43!!? This is new to me, and coming from a UK site, this is a bit shocking.

I don't think this is hurting anyone other than those who are "living" down there, to say that this is even true...

Perhaps the police should be notified of this?

According to About.com (http://govegas.about.com/cs/faqs/l/blfunfacts.htm) there are 1701 legal gambling places with 197,144 slot machines. The population is about 500,000 residents.

Remember that the city of Las Vegas does not go south past Sahara. South of Sahara Ave is Clark County.

I hope that helps.

As for the weather, it is long sleaves and some light jackets most of the time. I retired to Las Vegas becaue I was tired of snow and cold and have not been disappointed. We do get some snow once in a while and every couple of years we get a hard freeze, but our winters would be considered spring weather in a lot of places. As for everything else, it goes on just about the same year round. ... more

Hi Terry,
Sure! There are MANY lovely homes, townhomes and condo's in Las Vegas for sale under $100,000. Your definition of "good" may not be the same as another39;s, so I encourage you to do your own research to find the area that suits your needs; one that is close to your office, schools, parks, freeway access etc - - whatever is important to YOU. Our police department has a website where you can investigate crime, if that's of concern. That site is: http://www.lvmpd.com/crimeviewcommunity/default.asp.
Good luck and let me know if I can help :)

Issues of neighborhood safety are often best addressed by the local police department. The will likely have access to the most accurate and current information.

By law no real estate agent can tell you what a "safe" area is (federal law). Everyones idea of safe or decent area is different. You must do your own research.

John Brassner answered:
Hi Chay. If you want to sell after 2-3 years, I would say it is most likely a better bet to just rent. However, if you would entertain buying a place and renting it as income property after you leave, that would make great sense.
