Yes! For me to know my neighbors is knowing my support... plus it's "Homey". I like when I see my neighbor and they actually say hi... or if we have a community emergency, we know we are here to support each other.

I've asked the same question to many home owners and I find that many people do NOT know their neighbors anymore, and it's bothersome... so unsocial. Yikes, you know more people on the internet that you've never met than you do your neighbors?

Get outside and meet a friendly face (which you likely see every couple days, anyway).

Oh, and you're a Realtor, you should let your neighbors know!

Hi, Trulia Las Vegas.

Sorry for the late response. But I may have the answer for you. Just recently, a very good friend of mine, Kiki, just purchased a club by the name of "Azul". It is currently under rehab and will soon be the "Pulse Night Club". From what I understand, it is the LARGEST freestanding nightclub, not attached to a casino or hotel.

As far as I've seen, the biggest differences are just in technicalities like where you get business licenses etc..

Both areas will have great places to live, shop, dine, etc - And much of those choices will just be dependent on what kind of lifestyle you like to live. ... more

Hello leiahuisa,

Safe and nice are relative terms. But I have friends who live in the area and who are very nice, and they are also safe people. There is no place in Las Vegas where there is no crime, and because "nice" is in the eye of the beholder, I have to go by the price of the homes in the area to judge what you might consider "Nice". Based on the price range, I would say it is nice. If I were interested in purchasing a home in that price range, I would feel just fine buying in the area. There are schools, churches, shopping, and transportation all within moments of the intersection you mention. Appraisers would tell you that the area homes are homogeneous.

If you would like to see the crime stats for the area, you can go to:

A single family home in that price range will require many thousands of dollars of repairs before you can live there. Are you ready for that?

All areas in Las Vegas have the potential to have some airport noise, at one time or another. Traffic routes can change at a moments notice. The best suggestion would be to visit the neighborhodd you're interested in during the middle of the day and see what kind of air traffic it gets. Then you need to decide if that is something you can live with. In terms of safety, visit www.lvmpd.com and check out the crime reports for your targeted area. This is your best resource for that type of information. ... more

In Nevada, the disclosure of a death in the property only has to be disclosed if the property caused the death. This relates to stair failing or roof falling on a person. Otherwise, deaths in the property do not need to be disclosed if known by the Seller.
