I want to first start by saying that renting to own is a very risky and complex option in owning a home and I strongly recommend you hire a buyer's representative or an attorney to assist you in navigating through this option. Your interest need to be protected more in this type of option. Or you could set yourself on a budget plan with the goal of owning your home through conventional methods. Think about eliminating your highest interest debt in order to bring your debt ration down. Contact a mortgagr broker that can assist you with htis plan.
Those are both very nice neighborhoods. I did a search for 3/4-1 acre lots and nothing is currently listed in those neighborhoods. There is a builder that is currently building in West Fork. There are many other wonderful communities that are zoned to Giesinger. My daughter attended that Elementary when she was younger. I am familiar and knowledgable about this area. I also can recommend some builders.

You can see rents that range from $750 per month on up. There may be some apartments that will rent for as little as $500 per month. The average home will rent for $1100 to $1300. Unfortunately, it is very normal. Short sales can happen in as little at 30-60 days and can go on for many months. I have been working one for nearly 8 months myself. It is a long tedious road but one that may be worth it in the long run. Good Luck!

There are some loan programs out there right now that may work for you, however with that credit score it would require a large down payment. And there are other factors that come into play that a lender would need to look at. So I would suggest getting with the lender first, since that would be required anyway before you could make an offer on a home.
