Volunteer in the community. Work hard and earn a reputation for being a professional first before you aspire to start at the top. Do a good job for everyone you meet. The customers you help buy their first house should become customers for life if you do a good job and stay in touch. Those customers will statistically refer you to other customers and each of those people with whom you work will usually sell a home and buy another home in about 5 to 7 years.
