My best suggestion always is to drive the area you are thinking about and maybe even chat with some neighbors. The weekends are always a great time to get a true feel for an area. There are sites that you can view demographics about areas on. You can go to my website www.cllickpickandmove.com. Then click on the local links, click on Fort Worth and go to their site. There are links here to find out more about neigbhorhoods. You can also click on school reports on my site to find out more about an area.

Realtors are not allowed to advise anyone legally about family orienation or racial stats. I just suggest to my clients that they check crime stats and visit areas in person to see where they want to move.

Good luck and feel free to contact me with more questions..

Thanks, Mindy Lowry RE/MAX 682-559-1246 cell

Perfect location. Unfortunately, so many apartments have caused more crime. You can check out the crime statistics in the area to see if it might work for you particular needs. In the business for over 35 years, I have seen this area change from year to year.

There is a golf course nearby. One should just investigate the particular area.

Could be a good investment. Too many apartments have resulted in local Fort Worth Division in the neighborhood. Some complexes are not managed well, which causes issues.

It's a high concentrated area.

Best to visit first, before making a final decision. The townhome communities are nice, depending upon where that community is located.

There are a few great resources around. I think it is best to contact your Community Resource Officer or CRO at the police department. Just call the main non-emergency number and ask to be connected to the CRO. They’re normally very aware of the good and bad areas of the area and can normally give you local statistics. You can also check out http://www.ojp.usdoj.gov/bjs/ which provides stats based on the FBI uniform crime reports. You might also visit the FBI stats site at http://www.fbi.gov/ucr/ucr.htm#cius. Another place to checkout is http://www.Crimeweb.net . Hope this is of you to you. ... more

Hi J.H.

The best place to find crime statistics is to talk to the local police department. Their site should have crime statistics by neighborhood.

I would also check www.mengans-law.net for local sex offender registry.
