Do any of the debts that you will have erased by a Chapter 7 bankruptcy, including the judgment, have anything to do with non-payment of rent or any other tenant-landlord issues?

If it is listed with a Realtor or real estate company, call them. If it is for lease by owner, there should be a sign outside. If there isn't, well I don't know. =-)

I believe so..... Or maybe a portion?!?! has some 800 #s on their website. I understand that they can be really helpful.
I would trust them over what some lender/realtor remembers about the program.

Big question. Lots of neighborhoods. I'd probably start with the area closest to your work, and perhaps interview you a bit to see if you have kids in school, what activities you like, if you like older homes, or newer homes, what's a good commute, etc.

Hope that makes sense.

Without knowing any of these things, my first guess would be Valley Ranch area in Irving or Coppell. The link below will give you an idea of some of the homes that might be available.
