Hi,
By Fair Housing laws, real estate agents cannot comment on whether a neighborhood is considered safe. I suggest that you contact the local police department and inquire about the crime activity in The Colony to hear first-hand the frequency and types of crimes in that area.

Best wishes!

Honestly its personal choice. However new homes are harder for resale if the neighboorhood is still being built. The 2 year old home may have better re sale if the neighboorhood is established. You will need to have your Realtor look at the two areas and see which one is holding its value more. I hope this helps ... more

Hi Melodieh,

Unless you know real estate law and/or are a Realtor, it would be in your best interests to hire either a Realtor or a Real Estate Attorney. There is alot of paperwork and laws involved and you don't want to make any mistakes in such a large and important matter.

Castle Hills hold their value very well and you don't have that exhorbitant monthly HOA. It is a different lifestyle from a townhome living. Both have very good locations and as long as you don't get a lot that backs to 121 or the power lines in CH.

Too many townhomes to compete with in LC too with the new community being built out.

Seems high. Maybe the system added the cost of the land too. In the end it's going to depend on the level of finsih-outs (upgrades) you select.

Thanks.
