It's kinda tough these days getting in an apartment without good or ok credit, however it can be done it just may take more looking around than usual and perhaps you will need to visit them in person before filling out the application to explain your situation to them and perhaps that will help them build some trust in you and not pay so much attention to your credit. Good luck to you and I wish you the best! ... more

Trulia has a great, "rental page" at the top, second from the left. If that does not have what you are looking for the daily oklahoman is the next best bet.

Hello here are several options for you. First go to my website: Click on the "View Listings" scroll to pages 61 to 88. There are several homes for lease listed here. When you find one in the location, price, and photo you like then key on the "View Listings". This will give you all of the details for this property. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and the person to contact is listed here.

News Channel 9 has a great crime tracker site. I believe this only locates the crimes to the 100th block and not specific property addresses.

You may be required to pay a larger deposit or get a co-signer if your credit score is low. Most owners do run a credit check now. An individual who wants to rent their property may be a little easier to negotiate with.

Good luck...

Mr. Totty,

The acceptance of your credit score depends on the individual landlord. When it comes to rentals, drive the neighborhoods and call the for rent signs that interest you and negotiate your lease w/ that landlord.

Just like all real estate, everything negotiable.

Hope this helps,

Your area is very desirable for selling or leasing. I suggest we market it to sell first and then if we don't achieve the desired outcome, we rent it out. What's the property address? I'll do a complimentary comparative analysis.. it will educate us a whole lot better on which way to proceed. Do you have a phone number you can be reached at?
