Average days on market is close to 90 days so don't start worrying yet! While it's hard to be patient, it does take time to get maximum exposure and an eventual showing with the right buyer. Trust your agent and know that he or she will give you the feedback necessary to take it in the right direction. I did take look at the pictures and it looks like a lovely home. Good luck!

Aside from the process of selling;
you would have to look at your loan paper;
is there a pre-payment clause?

Your home is not meeting buyers' expectations when they look at it. It either needs work to be done or a lower price.

Hello Aaron,
Trulia does not accept for-sale-by-owner listings. You will need to work with a real estate agent in order for your home to be marketed here but you can write a Blog about it.

I suggest listing it on or as these real estate web sites will post for-sale-by-owner listings.

Good luck!

You could advertise a seller "buy down" of the interest rate. This can be cheaper then a further price reduction and can lower a buyers initial interest rate as much as 2 points. Call a local lender for details on this. The lender may even be able to produce flyers for you offering special financing programs depending on your price point. ... more
