Good Evening Greg,

One of the best ways to get into this type of business is to reach out to Service Master or Service Link, both are names I've heard from some REO realtors in our area.

Another opportunity is to connect with local banks as they still have relationship oriented service providers whereas big banks outsource this function.

Hope this info help.

Since real estate professionals are prohibited from steering, enticing a buyer to purchase/rent, or not, in specific neighborhoods, do consider revisiting the area more than once and at different times of day, look for everything that is important to you, possibly chat with locals, then make your determination.... ... more

Hi Scs,

If you give me your search criteria, i.e., # of 'bdrms, # of baths, budget, etc... I can run a quick search utilizing the W/D in unit feature.

You should know that some of the reasons condo buildings (or any rental for that matter) don't allow W/D in units is overflow hazard, water bill expense, lack of w/d hook-up, electrical power, no gas lines, etc..

Let me know if you'd like for me to run a search on your behalf.

Hi Lyla,

520 S State is a terrific locationand the building is brand spankin' new. Here's the cautionary tale: of the 184 total units in the building, only 30 show as sold and closed. You may want to consider a rental there - the records show about 15 units have been rented. ... more

Good Morning, Kate!
Many of the Chicago suburbs have much to offer the young, but Naperville and it's unique downtown area and nightlife stand out above the rest. Schaumburg, Mt. Prospect and Park Ridge also have a lot to offer.
If you have any questions, or need help finding a home/condo/etc., please feel free to email me or call me anytime.
Have a great day!

It's financially sound with over 1M in reserve. Many of the units seem to need updating and some do not have a view (but many others have a great view). There is no exercise room in the building which is odd for it's size, but overall, it's better than many others in the neighborhood.

check out a few of these web addresses that talk about the Patch...,_Chicago

I am wondering what exactly you are looking for, because then putting all your requirements and wishes together we could potentially come up with area information for you.... Also what type of property you are looking for,and your price range and size of home and why did you think about the Patch in the first place It always depends on what it is that YOU want in your neighborhood to decide where to buy, for some it is close to transportation, for others close to school, for others close to downtown or close to work etc. etc., For when it comes to your question of safe I would suggest to check the police blotter, and check out the neighborhood amenities time permitting....

Take care and good luck in your home search!
