Here is a good resource for you: For the weekly crime maps you will need to click on the correct precinct they are looking in. There are precincts 1-5. For some reason the annual reports are a little behind and the last report is 2006. I would recommend looking at the weekly precinct maps and also the crime statistics which allow you to view by neighborhoods over several times of the year.

You can always call the police department and ask for information with in a certain radius.

For any community safety issues, you should contact the local Police Department. They keep map grids and category data for people just like you to review. All other information from others will only be opinions.

"Safe" is a word that everyone has a different definition for. In terms of crime, your best bet is to look at the Minneapolis Crime Statistics:
