Robert,
Homes listed here are the same as anywhere else. Most sellers are hoping to be cashed out, but there are some Lease/options as well. Your best bet to find a rent to own is to start with a quality local agent who can help you sort through the options, perhaps line you up with a good lender who can make sure when your option to purchase will be up, you're ready to qualify for your loan. ... more

Unless they carry two licenses, one for each state then they personally could not handle the transaction. What you could do is see if there is a brokerage that has offices in both states. They have two agents help you for the transaction and when you buy, they can split the commission.

Just remember that an agent is more than a tour guide and they do much more than show homes and are strictly on commissions. So when you find an agent or two and are happy with them, stay loyal to them and they will be loyal to you.

Any reason why you are considering looking in two states opposed to one?

The city of Conneaut has an assortment of characteristics. The first is the lake front area with marina, beaches, cottages, and a new conservation board walk in the plans. The new school system strives to keep students up to date with alot of community envolvment with private donations to keep activities when funds are reduced in these tough economic times A new library, festivals, and social activities makes Conneaut an active area to live in. The market has given us affordable housing which in time will have a good return. It is a city with a small town feel which has pulled together even with disagreements to make it work. If you like the country, the school district expands with miles of farmland and rural areas also, and we still have bus routes! Come take a look and give me a call, I'd be happy to show you wht is available. MJ
