Naples is a much smaller area and the population is older and more wealthy. I'm sure that contributes to my secure feeling here in Naples. This is purely personal, but I avoided cape coral, fort Myers because of this fact. Naples is a bit more expensive to live than northern southwest florida, but in my opinion very much worth it. It is a beautiful place with many gated subdivisions, so finding a secure community with friendly neighbors will be fairly easy here in Naples.
