If they are small dogs, you may be able to find a 2/2 condo within that price range. If the dogs are over 30 pounds each, and if there are more than two of them, you may have some difficulty.

Though I am a realtor who gets makes a commission only when I directly help people find places to live, I am going to direct you to a source that will not involve working with a realtor.

I think you are more likely to find an apartment that works for you using the apartment guide that is available in any Publix Supermarket. If you are not in this area, go to http://www.ForRent.com, and you will be connected to this guide. These apartments are more likely to be pet friendly.

Dear Sana,

This rental that you are inquiring about is in Century Village, which is an adult community. Are you looking for something furnished or unfurnished? Near FAU there is one unfurnished for $850 and one furnished for $800. From there prices go up to $900.

Let me know if I can be of further assistance. Thank you.

Best regards,

It is a very tight market here, whether renting or buying. I don't know about Trulia but Realtor.com has a very good rental search engine. You may want to check surrounding areas that may be cheaper, Boynton Beach, Lake Worth, etc. ... more

If you're looking for a condo in Boca Raton that you and a freind in your 20s can rent, then unfortunately, the condo in Centruy Village tht you're looking at won't work for you. Unless one of you is over 55, you will not be able to live in this community.

You may want to contact a Boca Raton real estate agent and find out what is available. You may also want to check the apartment guide available in any Publix Supermarket in this area.

Charles,

1400/mo is certainly not unreasonable. There are many condos available for many price ranges.
However, if you are willing to adjust your budget you will be able to find something slightly nicer. Many prices are easily bargained.

I am from the Mizner Park area & will be completely honest that the traffic will continue like that on the weekends. Weekdays are not as bad (except during the Rush Hours). These are some things you may eventually get used to .. or perhaps you may look to live just a little west of Route 1 or Dixie Highway to avoid some of the downtown traffic, while still being close enough to enjoy the atmosphere.

I would love to help you find your ideal rental… please feel free to visit my website

Hi Petra.

A rental with this criteria doesn't exist. I would suggest you look at something like Extended Stay by Marriott or Wright by the Sea in Delray Beach.

Good luck.

William Polack answered:
Re-phrase your question. Ask for a list of homes and then negotiate the dogs afterwards. Make your proposal a sweet one: will pay higher deposit or dogs are not hyper, they are older, they require a fenced in back yard... I had a similar situation in that my dog is on the not insurable list, so, that's the last thing I brought up. Because I'm exactly what they were looking for, they were okay with it. I paid a higher deposit fee to cover the insurance deductible.
You also may want to consider buying a house instead, even if it's a little smaller to start, that way, you make the rules. There are loans available for just about anyone who has income, regardless of credit or down payment.

Russ Greenberg answered:
Hi Debo,
Thr chance of you finding someone in your scenario is slim. Nothing is impossible but it may take so long and delay you getting to FL. Im assuming your house is up for rent as you are going back in 2 years. With the drop in prices and not laughing at you i can get you a nice house in Boca Raton or nearbye 20 min to Cypress in your range. Next is finding a community that allows pets and also 2a dogs. Some have weight and breed restrictions unless there is no association and most here have one. If the homeowner objects you can offer a larger pet deposit along with a non refundable cleaning fee. Im a pet lover/owner and believe me have been there too. Contact ne with your info so i can send you a list of suitable properties to meet your needs.
