You interview the realtor and ask for references. Buying or selling a home is very stressful and it is extremely important that you feel comfortable with the agent you choose to work with. It should become very clear to you that the agent ALWAYS puts your needs first. Referrals are the lifeline of our industry. I always say that good news travels fast but bad news travels faster. An agents reputation, especially if you are working within a intimate area will determine your success as a realtor. ... more

Its kind of hard to say who has more closings than the other. Just about everyone will say they closed many homes. You should interview at least three agents. See you has the best marketing for what you are looking for. Also see which agent you feel most comfortable with.

Are you trying to market you home to more Europeans? The internet these days goes very far. You will see agents posting your home on the internet in several or many different places in order to get the most exposure.

I hope you find the agent you are looking for. If you would like to call me at 954-993-4104 or email me at to show you what I can offer. I would be more than happy to. Remember, you should speak with more than one.

Just like interviewing for a job. See who gives the most in servicing your listing. Are they willing to work for it. As you know that it is harder to sell these days and lots of listings. Make sure they are willing to make the time to speak to you on a weekly basis, even if it means they don't have good news for you. I will be willing to sit down with you. I don't even look at the commission amount offered - yes, I am sure there are some that do look at the commission but the biggest problem right now is your competition. My advice would be to drop your price and make sure your property is properly staged and in great repair - if you are the best priced condo and you show well, you will be most likely to sell. ... more

Silvia. More houses than??? Are you trying to find out who the agent is who has sold the most houses in that zip code? I don't think Trulia has that kind of information and there are probably a lot of agents who may want to claim that they sold the most houses. What time frame are we talking about? This year? Last year? The last two years? Why do you want to know this? Do you want to list with the agent who sells the most? ... more

Hello Chris,
I'd love to help with a projection date if you could provide more info's; i/e: zip code, square ft etc.
Best ROI on upgrade comes of course from general condition, but Kitchen and an entertainement area (bbq) will work and it's quite affordable.
After 15 yrs, I'm sorry to say........ you'll need to update restrooms, probably A/C and most surely the roof, which is one of the element Bank look at first to fund a loan.
I firmly believe that market will kick up in 2/3 years, or as soon they decide to apply the new property taxes laws.
Don't forget to trim trees and landscape, some paint wouldn't be bad idea either; if you brought it 15yrs ago and did not get tricked by latest mortgages traps, I would estimate you'll need about 10/15 k leaving you with plenty of equity.
If you need further assistance check the reference link and contact me.....I'm pretty sure I can solve it within 12 m;0nths!
