there is no answer possible since we do not know which property you are talking about.....
If you provide an address we may be of help....

Yes prices could change for a variety of reasons, upgrades, changing the price to adjust to current market conditions and many other reasons....
But without exact address we cannot get you any concrete explanation or answer.

Katie,

Often the best source for accurate information of this nature is through the local police department or sheriff's department. They have access to the most current and accurate information and will likely be able to speak to the issues of different neighborhoods.

Good luck,

If unfamiliar with the area, do visit more than once and at different times of day, possibly chat with locals/neighbors. For any safety concerns contact/visit the local police department with all all your questions, hear all there is to hear firshand; real estate professionals are prohibited from steering, enticing a buyer to purchase, or not, in specific neighborhoods.....

Jsmith,

You should be concerned about Chinese drywall and avoid it at all costs. However, the report of the troubling material in a community does not mean the substance is present in the subject home.

In these cases, the best approach is to make all offers with an addendum clause that specifiec that "if any Chinese drywall is determined to be present in the home that you have the right to withdraw from the agreement without any penalty and yoeur escrow money returned."

The process for detecting this material is very simple and concerns can be eliminated with most home inspections.

Best regards,

Bill

Hi Helen,

When you say Investment; are you referring to true investment property, or investment in your primary residence?

Are you paying cash or finance?

Have you ever lived in a condo before? Some people who have only lived in houses may not be quite prepared with all the aspects on Condo living.

Condo's are great for the right situations.....which one is yours and I can assist further.

feel free to contact me
Sincerely,
Michael Brenner

There is a Homeowner's policy designed specialy to cover the inside of a condo. This form of policy (H06) will cover the reconstruction costs, personal contents, liability, loss of use and medical payment coverages. It will also include Loss Assestment coverage which is usually required from you homeowner association.
Good luck with you New Condo!!!
