Hi Nikki,

If you want to see if you can get a mortgage to buy a property, start here:

If you don't have any luck with a typical lender then try a credit union.

All the best,

I would say that it would depend of how much you want to invest. If you are talking about above $100,000.00 I would try finding for you properties around Unit 50, Bayside Lakes and Lockmar areas. If it is less money I can guarantee you that most of Palm Bay areas are great place to invest, specially right now. If you want to give me the honor to help you in your search please call me at my cellphone 321 482-8253

Lorraine Jackson answered:

It is not too early to start looking. I would make sure your banking is all in order to get financing if you need that. Otherwise just keep an eye on the internet and all the listings in the area you want to be in. This will give you an idea of what way the market is trending in the area you like. You may want to get a Realtor that
Represents Buyers to start working with you also.

Wishing you the best of luck!

Ok Nicole, first my prayers are with you and may God watch over you and your family. I would suggest you try searching the Space Coast on and on You will have a better chance of finding someone to rent to you with your not so good credit. An individual is more likely to hear your need and respond.
God Bless,

You'll probably be getting a lot of responses here. See who gives you the best answer and who you connect with. Talk to a few Realtors and see whom you feel most comfortable with and take it from there.
Good Luck! If you need a referral, I'd be happy to give you one.

Hello, I have a majority of my clients come from NY....My Husband (is a New Yorker). They too have the parents purchase the home with the intent the kids or other family will use it until they retire or relocate to occupy the home themselves, or simply buy as an investment. This would be a standard real estate transaction. As long as you are in a community that does not require you to hold the home for 365 days before you can rent. ( New Construction) tends to follow this rule. I would love to assist you in your home search. I am a Floridian and am familiar with great areas to purchase !

Happy Home Hunting...

Yes, there are a couple of excellent programs out there. The most commonly used is the state bond program. This gives you between 5,000.00 and 7,500.00 in bond program assistance money to use towards down payments. Also, we could always ask for between 3 and 6% in closing cost assistance on top of the bond money from the seller. Sellers now a days are typically giving 3% of the total purchase price.
I would be more than happy to help put you in touch with a few reputable lenders out there that you could interview for the best rates available.

Kimberly Reed answered:
Yes and no. A property with a tax lien is usually on its way to or is in foreclosure. We have foreclosed properties for sale. When someone bids and wins the tax lien rights they have not bought the deed but their investment pays the delinquent taxes for the property owner who has fallen behind, in exchange the buyer is given first lien position on the title. Liens for unpaid property taxes have priority over all other liens. You are not buying the property. If you are interested in obtaining tax liens, I suggest you familiarize yourself with the property of interest and your legal obligations. ... more
