This may be difficult, and we most likely will not be able to find anyone who will rent for any less that 12 months, but if you contact me directly carlrealtycenter@aol.com, I'll see what I can do for you.

Hi, Emily,
Your question is incisive and depends on many factors. I recommend your asking your title/closing company or attorney who is assisting you with the closing and sale of the property as a starting point, and of course you will need to work closely with your loan professional and realtor for the sale. ... more

This is not going to fly unfortunately, no bank will finance this after they check the credit situation.

Hi Jeanette,
Thanks for turning to Trulia for your real estate questions.

What would your price point be?
That of course is a tough question as the market is regaining strength and prices are increasing everyday!
Also, would you want a short sale, bank owned, traditional?
And do you want something that may require some work?

We could all set you up with listings, but you may also want to find an agent to work with you.

Thanks a million,

Good Evening

You may well have an option with a USDA loan product.
Of course, this is address-specific, but it may give you an opportunity that doesn't exist at this time with FHA.

Can you please contact me so that we can start a dialogue on this?

Thank you,

Michelle

Hi Jackie,

Thanks for your question. No one can advise you whether to rent or buy. Sometimes people move to another state and they rent first and then buy. Some people make several trips to Florida to shop areas and buy before they get here. You certainly have time to think it over whatever you decide if I can help let me know.

Good luck with you decision. Enjoy your weekend.

Unless paying cash, since nothing closes without the loan, best to contact someone like me in advance to get pre-qualified.

Review these loan programs here below and then call me with the ones you are interested in learing more about:

If you are going to pay cash, there's no problem. If you need to finance it, I would check with a mortgage broker or bank so they can see what you qualify for. I have some contacts of mortgage brokers if you are interested. Just email me directly and I will forward their information to you.

If I were you I'd schedule a follow up showing or two, and bring contractors with you. If the property has significant issues like that, I would imagine it is vacant, is this true? If so, that should make it easy for you to schedule follow up showings. I would also assume that the owners are aware of the issues you speak of, so they should understand that you need to get quotes on how much it would cost to remedy these problems. Good luck! ... more
