If you send me a stack of business cards and small flyers (smaller than 8.5X11) I will put them on our community help center in my brokerage office in St. Augustine. This is where agents go to look for services to recommend to their customers when they don't have someone in mind already. Let me know if I can help. Good luck with the business!

Renters License? I've never heard of that before. Do you have rental property that you plan to rent out and manage yourself?

Tracy,
Are you interested in a specific REO property, or are you just interested in REO's in general? REO's can be great deals, but I have seen a lot of "regular" resale homes that are also fantastic deals. Unless you are purchasing through the court auction and have cash, a good portion of the REO's are listed with a Realtor and are posted on the MLS. In that case, any Realtor that you are comfortable with can assist you. Although I do not service the Flagler area, I have an excellent relocation department and can refer you to a top agent in the area if you like.

Regards,
Matt Carroll

Use the other properties that have rented as comparisons, and negotiate from there. It is not unusual for prices in coastal communities in desirable neighborhoods to seem high priced. Unfortunately, many lower priced homes for rent are not in very good shape--Check the local paper, and another place where there's been a lot of success is to look on Craigs list--If a private individual is renting out his property and not paying a property manager, they can afford to rent it for less. Good luck,

Dee, Good morning
In response to your question, the Multi Listing System that Realtors use each day lists homes that are either a short sale, reo or forclosures. If you have a specific property that you are interested in, send me the address and I can investigate for you.

Thank you
