If you're not able to buy from a bank, then you're going to have difficulties buying from an investor on a lease option. If you are able to find one, you'll likely find yourself paying much more per month than renting, which may cause further financial distress. At this point, it's probably best to stick it out and rebuild your credit so you can buy a home in a year or two. ... more
