It depends on a lot of things. From a practical point of view, how would the floor plan be impacted? Is there already a full bath on the ground level or would you have to also add that? Is there adequate family living area? Then you should look at the cost of the addition compared to your return on the investment and affect on resale value? Good luck with your decision! ... more

First of all, congratulations on moving to our area! I moved here 20+ years ago and very happy I did! The best way to narrow down the specific neighborhoods and homes is to select a buyer's agent who can do all the "leg" work for you! In our are it will not costs you anything, as most sellers pay your buyer's agent fees. Plus, this agent will dedicate the time for you and will make your travel/search very easy!
We have many neighborhoods that your family would like, the best way to search is to identify those that have pool/club house, etc, recreation that your family will enjoy. Also, look for locations of the Catholic schools in the area and this will give you another list of neighborhoods that you may want to look at.
PS: I live next to one of these schools, off Leesville Rd in NW Raleigh and there are several communities that you can visit here...
I would love to connect to you and find out more hoe I can help, feel free to e-mail me or call me.

Radon can be elevated anywhere in N Raleigh. It is a spotty problem.
So, you may have an elevated reading while your neighbor may test out low.
And, it is more common in basement homes.

If you are uneasy about it, have it tested. The test is not terribly expensive, $100--$150.

seek the advice of a credit repair professional. That's what I would do. You might have to pay them a fee but if it helps get that monkey off your back it's worth it. Hope this helps.
