RK,
Please feel free to contact me, I know all the "Shore Line" places by the beach, which are great for Weekly/seasonal rentals.
Some rentals in the sandbridge area of Virginia Beach, can show a rental history of $50,000 to $120,000 per season.
Thanks and let me know what your looking for.

I have seen many of my neighbors successfully have their home assessments lowered after providing comps to the assessor. We just had re-assessments in 2012 in Fredericksburg and a few of my neighbors were assessed upwards of $100,000 over a home adjacent to them just because it looked smaller from the street (and it was not!). You'll have to compare tax assessments with a few homes in close proximity to yours and provide market data. It is still up to the assessor and you usually have a limited window to appeal. Good luck! ... more

Robert - From the R/E prof side (for me), I look for a lender (more specifically an LO) who is 1) trustworthy and has a track record of success to prove it. 2) They have to provide me with a quick response time, even if it is just to request more time to find answers, no avoidance. 3) They must treat my clients as well as they treat me, or better. From my buyers standpoint, (this is what I hear) 1) quick response time and in multiple mediums (phone, email, text, social media, digital, etc).
2) Comes recommended by their R/E professional. 3) Really listens and offer them multiple programs /loans to best meet their needs. Are you still at Monarch?

That is a tough time of year to find a temporary rental. You may want to check Craigslist in hopes of finding someone looking for a temporary renter for a couple of months....perhaps someone looking for a "house sitter".
And depending on how much money you are willing to spend, you may want to call a company who handles furnished vacation rentals. It could be pricey. Good Luck!!

Sandbridge does not have a Homeowners Association which would prohibit an RV in this driveway. I have however heard of a citywide code saying that boats, trailers & RVs must be parked be parked behind the front profile of a house. Fortunately this property has ample room to the side & rear to accomodate most RVs. Please feel free to give me a call or text directly at 757-619-2247 for more info. ... more

There are many consideration here:

The Values in your neighborhood are going up, but so are the Values in your next neighborhood:
And, assuming that you will be moving UP; the price of your next house will increase more than your present house. (Maybe the same percentage, but more dollars.)

Assuming that Job relocation is not a factor; I would recommend moving now:
Decide on your Realtor and go for it.

Private party financing is a possibility. What price range would you consider for a purchase and how much cash is available for the down payment. What are your minimum requirements for the home you will be buying.
Were you on the deed and/or deed of trust of the home that was foreclosed on?
Thanks,

You, of course, are assuming that the Seller would never lie to you, do a bad DISCLOSURE, or have something to hide?
You do not plan on doing Inspections, because you know that there are no hidden problems?
You know that the house is worth more than you are paying, and that you will not regret it next year?

I thought you used Realtors in Kansas?

Good luck and may God bless
