Hi Cynthea,

Welcome to Virginia! I work a lot of rentals in the area. I have to be honest - finding something with 2-bedrooms in Arlington for under $1100 is going to be nearly impossible (especially if you want to be metro accessible). You may need to reconsider your budget. If you are willing to go as high as $1,400 a lot more options open up to you. Feel free to go to my website and run a search: www.vahomesbyjamie.com and you can see for yourself what is currently available.

I wish you the best of luck with your home search!

Cheers,
Jamie

Hi Peter
She would need a short term rental. Georgetown is a reasonably safe area as there are so many college students, faculty and professionals living close to the university and hospital. If she has a car, Arlington, VA would also be a great option. $1500.00 would get her a one bedroom one bath rental condo or apartment in Arlington. Prices in Georgetown are going to be higher. She might do well with finding another nurse that needs a short term roommate. ... more

Hi Tom,
That property is not listed in our multiple listing service as of today. It's probably being handled by a property management company. I'm looking into it for you and I'll let you know what I find out. If you're looking to rent in Arlington, I can certainly help you find a great place to live. Feel free to contact me through my website at: www.arlingtoncountyvarealty.com. You can search for properties as well on my website. Let me know how else I can help you. The rental market here is very tight and properties that look good and are priced right don't stay on the market fast so it helps to work with someone who can jump on properties as soon as they come up! ... more
