Hi Margaret,

There is a great website to help you answer those questions. You can choose your address and do a search within a certain perimeter and can choose different date ranges to give you a good overall feel for crime activity in the area. As for the demographics on age, I am not familiar with any sites that break those down to the building level. Best of luck in your home search! ... more

The link below has the profile on Park Circle from the official Live Baltimore website. There is a link on that page to crime stats. Let me know if I can help.

Thanks for the question but as a licensed realtor, we cannot talk about crime in the neighborhood. We cannot talk about what kind of people live, about schools or any of such things. Your best bet is to call local police precinct and ask them. They have all the crime reports and will be happy to share with you.

Another option you have is drive thru area, just see what is going on in the community, kids are hanging around the streets etc which will educate you on a neighborhood.

Thank you

Washington Village is an easy walk to Camden Yard and Raven's Stadium and the MARC station at Camden Yard. Washington Village has a lot to offer the new buyer. There's the annual Pigtown Festival, some local bars and restaurants. Values have improved over the years. I've sold over 150 homes here in the last 8 years. I like the area, people are neighborly and look out for one another, there's a voluntary community association for those that like to belong. It's close to UMMC and Hollins Market and Lexington Market. There are some great opportunities here to buy at a low price. If you'd like to take a look at some of the homes that are for sale I would be happy to help you.

I would be happy to help. Have found a few listings for you. Two of them were former beauty shops as well, so might be an easy transition.

Please ring me at your earliest convenience.

If you have a relationship with a realtor, (maybe the one who sold you your house, maybe someone who farms your neighborhood), just call them and ask. They can look it up, but only after it closes, and would be happy to get you the information. (To disclose what a home is selling for before the settlement can put the seller in a bad spot if the deal doesn't happen for some reason.) Most of us are happy to provide information to people and think of it as part of what we do. ... more
